After becoming a dentist in 1998 Dr Palacios completed a three year Residency at the world renown prosthodontics specialty program at the University of Washington and earned an additional specialty degree (Master of Science in Dentistry) and certificate. Dr Palacios is also a part time Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Universiy of Washington School of Dentistry, in the Graduate Prosthodontics Clinic.

Dr. Palacios is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American College of Prosthodontists (Prosthodontics.org), American Dental Association, Washington State Society of Prosthodontists, King County Dental Society, and the University of Washington Graduate Prosthodontic Alumni Association. Dr. Palacios belongs to one of the prestigious Spear Study Club with other specialists and general dentists. Dental study clubs facilitate professional development and networking for clinicians within a shared local community. Spear has the most established network of study clubs in the world, with thousands of members and hundreds of active clubs that offer small-group learning supported by prescribed curriculum to shape productive interdisciplinary relationships. She also received additional training in Yorba Linda California about the innovative treatment “Teeth in a day” by the biggest implant company, Nobel Biocare.

Dr Palacios #1 goal is to provide the highest quality dental care available. She does not run a “high production” practice and devotes more than the usual amount of time to each patient and procedure. She is also fluent in Spanish and can communicate very well in Portuguese.
